Describe something you own that you want to replace
You should say:
What it is
Where it is
How you got it
And explain why you want to replace it
By nature, I a frugal lifestyle and try to avoid being too extravagant in everything. I don’t base much of an interest in equipping myself with loads of hi- tech gizmos or brand clothes like my friends. But off the top of my head, if I were to give you an account of something I'd wish to replace, it should be my current smartphone, which is a XiaoMi.
I got the phone when my friend accompanied me to a phone store, as he is quite knowledgeable about technical issues related to phones, I entirely entrusted the task of buying It to him. He did carefully cheek for touch screen errors, water- resistant feature and other compatibility Issues and finally advised me to buy It. I saw eye to eye with him right off the bat.
The phone has been with me for over 3 years. I can't say it's in mint condition but at least it's functioning properly and doesn't let me down much. However, just a couple of days ago some symptoms started to crop up. I can't watch Bilibili videos because it only plays sound, not images, and the same problem with the video playback is seen in Youku videos. Oddly, when I rebooted the device, everything went back to normal, making me both enraged and relieved at the same time. I have been searching for solutions on the Internet but things appear to be in vain for me, as even a factory reset failed.
I joked to my friend the other day that I would replace my current phone with an iphone 10, but waiting Apple to release that version means I would have already ken back in prehistoric era as today no one can live without a smartphone. I’m collecting some of my friends’ advice before arriving at decision later. But if in the meantime, the video playback matter is solved, then if no longer see the need.
